Developmental Goals

1. Nutrition

  • Carbohydrates: Having a mix of Glucose and Fructose helps give quick energy & long-term sustained energy during exercises.

  • Electrolytes: Salts are essential during longer workouts.

2. Natural Ingredients

  • Simplicity: Everything needed for energy can be found in nature. Having a simple ingredient list isn’t out of the question for fitness nutrition.

3. Enjoyable Taste & Texture

  • Texture: Pureeing fruit and chia seeds provides a consistency that is similar to applesauce and easy to swallow.

    • “It’s not snot!” - A glowing recommendation from a fellow runner who has used traditional gels.

  • Flavor is King: Fuel shouldn’t feel like a punishment when you’re already exerting yourself.

4. Affordable

  • Running is Expensive: For something that shouldn’t cost anything, getting into running can be hugely expensive. We want nutrition to be seen as something approachable for people at all levels.

  • Give Back: The hope is to donate, sponsor athletes, host events, work with races, and support anything that gets people moving.
